One of the nice things about having an "apartment" at the Garden Hotel in Guangzhou was being able to eat leftovers for lunch the next day. The "noodle man" polished off this pile in one sitting.
apparently it was important to share food with each other...lol
These are very expensive dried sea horses and dried sea cucumbers..
Daddy got some precious hand holding after dinner
"Taste on the tongue of China"
and the other one is all in Chinese so...what do you think it is???
well, it was some kind of pickled chicken feet...bones n all. Fei Fei loved them.
We ate pizza at a yummy local pizza place with our new friends from North Carolina. Lori and her new son who turned 14 on June 1. In China he was considered an "aging out" child. That means after his 14th birthday he would no longer be eligible for adoption. Lori found him on an advocacy sight and rushed to get paperwork done in less than 6 months so she could bring him home. We had some fun with them and the kids all got to be silly, and swim and play together all week. He has big adventures ahead of him with a big family to love on him.
Happy Birthday Qian Ping!
At the end of the day, Emma sat down to write to her friends in ChiFeng.
We promised to mail it to them whem she is finished.
Something else to mention about dear Emma. She LOVES QQ which is a form of Skype. We are trying to be careful with it because she wants to be on it constantly. For now it's ok in the transition, but we will have to deal with the limitations on it soon. She is OBSESSED.
and that's a wrap.
