Lucas Rides His Bike

I'm a little behind with a few things...but here are some updates...
On Dec. 2, Lucas announced he wanted to go ride his bike.  All I could think of in my head was "how am I going to tell him that this might not work?"...

But, I decided instead to just let him get out there and try.

Setting aside my own issues and fear of failure I suppose, I took him out there and low a behold....the boy figured it out...
Who needs feet anyway?

I have so much to learn from this little man.
Learning how to not look at a situation and think of all the ways it "won't" work out.
Learning to not look back.
Learning to look forward with anticipation of only good things to come.
Learning to not give up even if your "foot" slips off the peddle.
Learning to laugh at others who think you "can't".
Learning to smile when you accomplish something you've wanted to do for a long time.

and so much more...trying to keep my eyes and heart open to what God has to teach me through this boy.
