July 14, 2012--WI Trip--Oma and Opa's house

Saturday was a family day with Peter's side of the family.  Crazy, loud and delicious!  Yep food photos to follow...

Lucas thought it was a great idea to start the day--yes breakfast-- with Dirt Cake.  (vacation is almost done)

 and for dinner?? total and complete yumminess....Rouladen with mashed potatoes and gravy.  You can't really see the rouladen, but it is pounded/tenderized beef rolled up and baked for several hours as it forms it's own gravy.  It is SOOOOO Good!

Our dear friends Paul, Michelle and Matthew stopped by for a visit and got drawn in to the whole family day of craziness.  Paul knew Peter's family from back in our college days so they fit right in with the family food and fun.

The posts are shrinking because we are winding down our trip.  No major plans anymore. Soon to return home...we will probably leave on Tuesday and be bringing Oma and Opa (Peter's parents) home with us.
